Training for policy and industry leaders: Framework for resource efficiency in industry

Resource efficiency (RE) programs contribute to the goals of the Paris Declaration and Sustainable Development Goals. Resource and energy efficiency in industry increases net welfare gains from economic activities. The training enables participants to develop RE strategies and draft a schedule on how to design and implement RE programs.The training aims at GIZ project staff and key stakeholders in the process of the establishment of a national or sectoral resource efficiency program: policy makers in the field of environment, economy, climate change as well as representatives from industrial associations, unions, NGOs and other relevant stakeholders of developing and emerging economies.
